today's the first day of my first real temp job in years so bid me good luck - that i don't topple over in front of customers &/or drop stuff. i think i'll love it because i love the area but the thing that's really pulling me down is the fact that i have to wear covered shoes. ahh. i'm one of those flipflop lovers you see parading in town, the ones that fashionistas hate and blog about how unfashionable it is to see people decked in shorts and flip flops. i think it's only natural because it's so bloody hot here. i mean come on, it was what, 36 degrees out the other day. if singapore was one big beach, i'd prolly wear my swimsuit and sarong everyday hahaha
