nerd herd

i just heard the phrase "nerd herd" for the first time and i think i'm going to be using it quite often for the next 2 weeks or so like how i started using the word 'manslut' but it became a permanent word in my verbal dictionary because its oh-so-catchy. nerd herd nerd herd nerd herd.

i've been feeling so awake today. for the past two days i've slept a total of 22 hours and i had bubble tea just now so good luck to me sleeping early and waking up for a run. i might go for a fat chance.
so on a couple days ago, liwen, ania, audrey & i went to geylang serai to makan and i even managed to get my baju raya from FL(square) - the awesome new hip name for First Lady and i'm quite surprised i could get it at such a cheap price, even though it needs altering. gah. lazy to send.
our first stop was actually lavender to collect my passport (woohoo!) and then we went to CP to get a camisole and we came across the most odd version of a fake Wii.

isn't that awesome?! haha i wonder if anyone's already bought it. someone could easily mistake it for an electronic potty. haha.
that day, we also found so many strange coincidences with company's/brand names that were almost like anizza's! here's ANIZ (you can see it on the red squares in the background):

so we posed in front of the shop in joo chiat complex like tourists and it sure felt like it! it felt weird trying out kebayas in the stores as well. haha.





well, with that over, it's going to be another year before the search for the next baju raya! afterwards, went to the loo, and you know what, we were waiting for this lady in the cubicle to come out because it was the only one with a pipe in it. and the mak cik in front of me was whispering to me, complaining telling me that she had been waiting for that cubicle for 20 MINUTES and then she went ahead to knock several times on 3 different occasions.
a couple minutes later, this auntie, emerged from the toilet, clean, fresh & SHOWERED. bloody hell. i honestly have not seen such a thing in the 19 years of my life. i didn't know people bathed in public bathrooms!! not mentioning joo chiat complex. i'm truly astounded. hahaha seriously, wtf!
so bathing in public toilets aside, we were off to find makan at geylang serai itself.

i can't wait till the next visit but the next cultural site that i'm going to is little india to roam around & get some cheap dim sum. :) so we went for more shopping to find ketupats, dried flowers, wooden giraffes & ania's hari raya clothes. we also found baju relax. hahaha






i'm so bored tonight. i can't sleep because i've slept too much and have not engaged in any vigorous activities and so i'm here, awake and surfing every possible site on the internet.
