i think throughout the week, we already had not had much sleep because of all the papers but i guess pulling off all those all-nighters were definitely worth it. i'd rather have something to say/write compared to walking into something without knowing what to say at all right?
so with the exams & school being over for the semester,
the fun kicked in.
last minute, i managed to book a service apartment over at the Treetops to celebrate my birthday!!
i was soooo psyched and the patience with studying on a birthday really paid off! (: the place was beautiful. honestly, it felt like a one-day holiday to somewhere really far and it was nothing but relaxing.
so i reached the place first so that i wouldn't waste any of the 24 hours that i was entitled to spend there. so here's the lowdown; Treetops is the one place in Singapore that i swore i would live in for at least 1 month in my entire life. thats how much i loved the place. and now that i've actually seen & lived in it for 2D1N, i have approximately 30 days left to fulfill one of my goals in life. haha. the only thing is, i'm just going to die when the bill comes if i stay there for that long. so my conclusion to all this is that: LIFE SUCKS. its true! (sometimes, anyway).
so i checked in, went to check out the room, jumped and crashed into the middle of the huge-ass bed, and went for a swim. the pool was amazing and that 30 minutes of sun, was totally worth it. they even had 2 jacuzzis! how about that for living. beats del moar, anytime. after the swim, i went to get cleaned up and headed down to town (just a 5 minute walk!) to meet liwen & ania down at forum & after that we met up with alex, darren, abby & sheldon for dinner at california pizza. did you know they actually have a pizza thats called "peking duck"? its awesome.
after dinner, zac came and then we tricked him telling him that we were chowing. hahaha sorry zac! i couldn't help myself. lol. we walked up to the apartment and the night finally kicked in to 1st gear.
some had to leave but the rest of us (or most. haha) headed to attica :D
the night was perfect and thanks you guys, for coming down (: love you all and zac, i have something that belongs to you with me! haha.
we crashed back at the apartment at like..7? haha. and i think we fell asleep shortly after. haha. i think the previous night, i only managed to sleep for around 3 hours or so, so you can imagine how hard it was waking up at 10 plus in the morning because we had to check out.
it was the perfect birthday (:
can't wait for the next one, but..i don't really wanna grow old too fast. haha.
and even though i did nothing but sleep in today and watched movies, i still feel plastered thus i shall go forward with this 2++ months detox.
