Land of Tagalog.

my parents told me that we might be going to the Philippines at the end of the year (or sometime around there) and i was quite shocked, well not really. esp since the trip to lombok. they are quite serious about it though; they bought all the travel guides and everything and my mum is actually reading it so it's gotta be more feasible than the "lets go backpacking to italy". haha.

so a few pictures, (better than the ones of lombok posts back in lj before heading over there) and its quite apealling!

i'm not usually a big fan of the sea, but hey, what the heck right!

o and they have ancient cave side coffins (on the side of caves, explaining the name of it);

and well everything else i've seen (paticularly in this part called Sagada), is all pretty.

very pretty.

well so there is something to look forward to for this upcoming holiday. if you've been there and it was nothing but crap, do let me know. because there has to be some good reason for people from the Philippines leaving to come to singapore to work as maids, judging from all the pictures I've seen.
